Maria SarantisMy name is Maria Sarantis. I graduated with a degree of Bachelor of Arts from the Communication Sciences and Disorders Program at the University of South Florida, in May of 1997 and a Master of Science in Speech/Language Pathology from Mississippi University for Women, in May of 1999. As a new graduate I was employed by Pinellas County School System at Tarpon Middle School for a year and a half and then by the Pre-K Assessment Team for 3 1/2 years prior to the birth of my daughter, Evangelia. Going back to work when she was in kindergarten, I have been a contract speech-language pathologist for Children's Choice for Therapy, and with Plato Academy for the past 5 years. I have been at the Clearwater campus all 5 years but have also served children at our Palm Harbor, Tarpon Springs, Largo and Seminole campuses and as well as our new Trinity campus this year. It has been a joy to work with the Plato administration, teachers, staff and families. I look forward to a great 2016-17 school year. This year, I will be serving our Clearwater Plato Academy speech/language students on Tuesday's. My name is Maria Sarantis.
